Eve Perez is a non-binary mentor who grew up in the San Gabriel Valley and holds a BA in Sociology, Law & Society from UC Riverside. Eve believes in the power of young people to create positive change and understands that it takes a village to raise a child and continue shaping a better world. They have spent more than 4 years as a mentor supporting under-resourced students in South Central with achieving academic and socio-emotional goals.
Their aim is to continue being a resource for folks through radical acceptance and the use of trauma-informed practices - and eventually go on to earn a Master of Social Work degree. In their free time, Eve enjoys creating art, hanging out in nature, and volunteering for mutual aid.
