Dartagnan Chavez-Esparza works with families and youth to help ensure families are given proper assistance in order to help grow and thrive. He knows that providing a consistent, supportive presence in the lives of children can significantly improve their academic performance, self-esteem, and overall life trajectory.
Dartagnan has worked as a peer mentor at Cal State Dominguez Hills and as a behavioral interventionist at Comp Therapy. Working as a peer mentor at CSUDH, he as able to assist first year college students navigate the college life environment while also assisting them find what they are passionate about. As a behavioral interventionist he worked with children with disabilities by helping them reach new academic milestones.
Dartagnan has obtained a Crisis Prevention Interventionist training and holds a Bachelors in Child Development from Cal State Dominguez Hills.
