September 10, 2021 Cruz’s Candy Store Land Encouraging an entrepreneurial spirit in our children At the beginning of last school year, Cruz* showed an interest in learning about money. His mom and his Friend, Victor, worked together to cultivate this interest by teaching him the basics of money. This past weekend Cruz put his education to action by starting a new business venture — selling candy in his neighborhood! He came up with the idea after brainstorming with Victor and his mom about ways to make money. We are so impressed with Cruz and his entrepreneurial spirit! We can’t wait to visit his store, Cruz’s Candy Store Land, and help him achieve his goal of selling as many candy bars as possible.
