One Mother's Story on Breaking the Cycle of Foster Care

Breaking the cycle of foster care is a difficult task, especially for parents who experienced the system themselves. Foster youth who become parents often have limited access to resources that may help them provide for their children and oftentimes come from a background with few reliable parental figures. As a community we can empower mothers and fathers to break the cycle by providing the support and mentorship necessary to take responsibility for their and their children’s lives.
