Raquel knows that every individual she encounters is on a unique journey, and she believes that by providing unwavering support and understanding, she can make a significant difference in their lives. What sets Raquel apart as an empathetic and inspiring Family Engagement Assistant is her genuine dedication to her client's well-being. She goes above and beyond to create a safe and nurturing space for them, allowing them to open up and share their challenges and aspirations. Raquel knows that their stories are more than just narratives; they are the driving force behind her mission to help them navigate the complexities of life and achieve their fullest potential. Her unwavering belief in the transformative power of empathy and guidance is the cornerstone of her exceptional work as a former case manager, and it inspires both her clients and colleagues to reach for their best selves.

Raquel has been serving underrepresented children and their families in LA County from South Central LA to San Fernando Valley as a Case Manager. She began her career in Case Management by working for the State of California’s Rent Relief Program. She assisted more than 500 families in obtaining rental assistance during the pandemic.

Raquel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from California State University Fullerton. She also has her adult/pediatric AED/CPR certification. Raquel’s aspiration is to change her community for the better and help families remain united.
