Mariah Go Chua

Family Engagement Director, San Gabriel Valley

Mariah holds a B.S. in Family Science and Human Development, an M.S. in Couple and Family Therapy from the University of Maryland - College Park, and a PsyD in Educational Psychology from Alliant International University. She is passionate about linking families to positive, concrete resources and increasing accessibility to mental health services for children and caregivers.

With over eight years of experience in community mental health, residential rehabilitation programs, non-profits, schools, and mental health startups in Los Angeles, Mariah has consistently demonstrated her expertise. Throughout her career, she has effectively managed high-performing teams of clinicians, delivered quality therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families, and championed inclusive, equitable educational and mental health services for underrepresented, minority, and LGBT youth.

Driven by a passion to make a meaningful difference, Mariah endeavors to provide invaluable support to youth and caregivers, fostering personal growth and assisting families in achieving their personal and familial aspirations. Her adeptness in employing family systems, solution-focused, and motivational approaches enables her to empower families effectively.

Outside of work, Mariah finds solace in exploring diverse cultures, having visited destinations such as Japan, Fiji, Paris, Mexico, and London with her partner. Additionally, she enjoys unwinding with her three dogs, indulging in anime, reading, playing video games, and discovering new restaurants in the Los Angeles area.
