Staff: Jose Perez

Jose Perez was born and raised in the Antelope Valley and wants to promote youth success in his hometown. His experiences as a foster youth monitor, sports director, volunteer, and big brother have driven him to want to help others in his community.

Additionally, Jose has developed a non-profit youth baseball program which helps youth develop sportsmanship, leadership, and social skills. He received his B.S. in Sociology at California State University, Bakersfield and graduated with his AA from College of the Canyons via its School of Social and Behavioral Sciences.

Jose is excited about working at Friends LA and is eager to grow and develop his skills in youth mentorship!
