Harper Lucas is an educator and advocate who served two terms as an AmeriCorps member delivering one-on-one literacy education in Pasadena. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Political Science with a concentration in Human Rights and Social Justice from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Harper is passionate about disability advocacy, children's rights, and equity in education. She wholeheartedly believes all children benefit from a consistent and encouraging mentor, something she witnessed firsthand during her time as an AmeriCorps member. In addition to promoting literacy and academic achievement, she loves the opportunity to help foster creativity and artistry in the youth she works with.
