Gbemi Abon is a Professional Mentor who works with youth to help them discover their identity, unique giftings, calling, and purpose. Her goal is to make sure that each person she comes across knows that they are loved, seen, and valued.
Gbemi believes that no individual is here by accident and that everyone is born with great intention. She believes that people should be treated with care, love, and respect. She knows that everyone has something to offer to this world no matter what their circumstance may be and loves to echo the phrase “Everyone has a seat at the table.” in her life.
After undergrad she served for a year as a Regional Director for Delight Ministries, a non-profit /ministry organization dedicated to creating Christ centered communities on college campuses for women. There she helped mentor college women within their personal faith journeys and helped them grow into becoming better leaders within their Delight chapters on their college campuses. During her time in undergrad and in Delight Ministries she developed a deep passion for supporting youth within their development and identity formation.
Gbemi holds a Bachelor’s in Arts degree in Communication as well as minors in Psychology and Theology - Christian Leadership from California Lutheran University.
