Flora Baltier (She/Her)

Program Manager, Antelope Valley

Flora Baltier has been a community member of Antelope Valley for nearly two decades. Growing up in diverse communities she experienced a broader view of the different opportunities and challenges families face across California. This sparked her passion to be a motivator and mentor for positive change in the community. Flora works with families to help support advocacy for children, enhance skill development and encourage the use of community resources. Flora believes that when we equip families with the right tools and guidance, we don’t just help the individual we are serving but strengthen the entire community and generations to come.

Flora has worked at a local non-profit organization and school settings. In that time, she provided oversight, education, and gained an appreciation of the value of early support services and community engagement. Through that experience she recognized how building genuine rapport and trust with families is essential to effectively supporting their needs.

With a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Southern New Hampshire and an associate degree in early child and family education from Antelope Valley College, she brings a trauma-informed lens approach to her work. Over the years she has dedicated her career to supporting youth and families through several stages starting from pregnancy to young children and onto the transitional years of young adulthood. Flora’s certifications are as diverse as her experience reflecting in a wide range that include Mental Health First Aid, Trauma Informed Care, Infant Massage and Lactation Counselor. Flora’s goal is to inspire and lead with a positive outlook, helping to empower the children and families we support.
