Staff: Corey Long

Corey Long was born and raised in View Park, CA. He graduated from California State University, Northridge with a Master’s in Education. Corey’s passion for education and child development expanded in his time as a youth sports coach and official.

Corey found the hands‐on experience of assisting young boys and girls with their development of not only athletic talent,
but also life lessons and skills was a challenge well worth taking on. After graduating, Corey continued to coach and officiate youth sports and also worked as a substitute teacher.

Now with Friends LA, Corey is thrilled to support the communities he grew up near. He possesses a strong dedication to assisting youth and their families in overcoming all barriers to success!
