Chynna Merritt (She/Her/Hers)

Chynna Merritt has a B.A in Psychology and Masters of Social Work (MSW) from California State University, Dominguez Hills. Ms. Merritt’s MSW program emphasized in Community Mental Health, equipping her with a wealth of clinical knowledge which further aids her in accurately assessing and assisting the needs of those around her.

Chynna Merritt is a dynamic individual who has over nine years of experience working within the largest child welfare system in the Country- the Department of Children and Family Services. Over the years, Ms. Merritt has mastered the art of working with a diverse collective while ensuring she develops and maintains necessary rapport with all. This experience has allowed for Ms. Merritt to deepen her passion of bettering her community, one family at a time. Ms. Merritt believes that education and empowerment are critical for a positive change that can enhance generations to come. Ms. Merritt utilizes an “each one, teach one” model which translates positively into her impacts with families.

In her spare time, Ms. Merritt enjoys broadening her cultural understandings via travel and is an avid animal lover who will stop to engage with any animal she comes across, except reptiles, LOL!
