Carol Guillen is a Program Director who works with children, families, and communities to help remove barriers to success and create opportunities for life-long growth.
Carol believes that every child and family deserves access to support, resources, and relationships that help them thrive through the many challenges of life. She has seen how meaningful change happens when people feel seen, supported, and empowered, and she is passionate about helping communities overcome barriers that stand in the way of success.
Carol has developed and expanded programs serving youth, young adults, and families across California, building partnerships, securing resources, and connecting individuals to support services. Through collaboration with schools and community partners, she has helped expand access to resources for children, youth, and families.
Carol is trained in Motivational Interviewing, restorative practices, and trauma-informed care.
Carol holds a Bachelor's Degree in Child and Adolescent Development from California State University, Northridge.
