Bryanna Leon (She/Her)

Professional Mentor, Metro-South Los Angeles

Bryanna Leon is a South LA native who thrives on serving her community. As a UCLA graduate with a Bachelor’s in Sociology and Chicano/a Studies, and a minor in LGBTQ+ Studies, she aims to use her credentials to give back to her community. Her many roles as a mentor, friend, and tutor in different nonprofits have prepared her for her role as a Friend as she has worked with diverse demographics, including, but not limited to, foster youth, homeless youth and adults, community in need, and many more.

With Bryanna’s dedication to ensuring growth within her community, she is determined to continue to lead with empathy, intention, and understanding. Her goal is to be a guide for everyone's individual journey by meeting them where they’re at and lending a helping hand where it’s needed. Bryanna aspires to continue her education in Social Work as her long-term career goal is to become a social worker and therapist. She takes on the role as a Friend as a chapter in her journey as the work Friends of the Children dedicate themselves to is truly inspiring to her.
