Anthony believes everyone has the power to succeed, but some just need a little nudge in the right direction. Anthony was born and raised in Lancaster, CA. He holds an AS in Administration of Justice from Antelope Valley College and is certified in youth mental health first aid. Anthony has worked with Antelope Valley Partners for Health (AVPH) , a non-profit, for three years in a few departments such as Family Mediation, has collaborated with many other organizations and school districts for community engagement, was a door-to-door community advocate forresource allocation and was a youth case manager supporting youth who were experiencing homelessness. His core values align with Friends LA’s mission, he knew he had to be a part of it.
Anthony is a passionate and experienced youth mentor with a proven track record of providing support and guidance to youth in need. He is adamant about building relationships, providing positive role modeling, and advocating for the needs of youth. He believes that every young person has something special to offer the world, and is committed to helping empower them to discover their unique talents, dreams and abilities. In his spare time, he enjoys gaming and traveling the world with his wife.
