Angel Meza is an LA native, having grown up in South Central and Inglewood communities as a child. Angel acquired an AA degree at Los Angeles Southwest College and has since been gaining experience in social work-related fields. He has worked with children and adolescents aged 2-18 that have been diagnosed with autism disorder as a Registered Behavior Therapist. He has experience working with unhoused populations of all backgrounds as a Case manager, as well as recent experience working on a mental health crisis response team in DTLA.
Through all his experience and lived life events, Angel has come to learn that the most effective support a person can offer others is support that is genuine, compassionate, empathetic, and respectful.
Angel is dedicated and passionate about his personal goals of helping and supporting the youth and adults within the community he grew up in. Angel understands the impact and importance of having a positive supportive figure in your life as a youth, and he is very excited to offer and be a model of positive leadership for our youth today.
