BOARD: Kendall Bass

Kendall is a proud Los Angeles native who now calls the West Hollywood Hills home, where she lives with her husband John and their beloved rescue dog, Loki. Kendall works as the Legal Director, Corporate & Investment Funds at Hillspire, LLC. Previously, Kendall worked as Vice President and in-house counsel for Oaktree Capital Management, where she managed diverse investment strategies. Prior to that, Kendall was an associate at the law firms Proskauer Rose LLP, where she advised asset managers and institutional investors across a wide variety of matters, and O'Melveny & Myers LLP, where she developed a robust transactional practice focusing on investment funds, project development and real estate, and mergers and acquisitions. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Kendall is a frequent traveler and enthusiastic explorer of Los Angeles’ vibrant culinary scene. Kendall is also deeply committed to community service. She actively supports charitable initiatives in addition to Friends LA, including her roles on the Associates Advisory Board for the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles and as a dedicated volunteer mentor with The Collective Identity Mentoring program. Kendall earned her B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and her J.D. from Harvard Law School.
